Marshall Young
OwnerIndustrial Designer and Consultant Marshall Young graduated from SCAD in 2003, launching a career that took him around the world designing advanced medical equipment and components. When the opportunity arose to work on a non-medical device, he was excited to apply his expertise in both Industrial and Interaction Design in a new context. As he watched the prototype take shape, Marshall began to envision bringing the quad/BWD experience to his hometown of Savannah, Georgia. What started as a passing thought—“This would be really cool in my hometown”—quickly evolved into “Somebody should do this,” and ultimately, “Maybe I should do this.” In July 2012, alongside his sister Theresa Young, Marshall launched Savannah Pedals, offering visitors and locals alike the most engaging and innovative tour experience in Historic Downtown Savannah.
