Dr. Wolverton, a native of Savannah, is a board-eligible and fellowship-trained surgeon who specializes in treating all injuries of the lower extremity but most specifically nonoperative and operative treatment options for knee and hip arthritis. He was trained extensively by leaders in the field in anterior total hip replacement, outpatient total joint replacement, partial and total knee replacement, robotic assisted total joint replacement, and revision total hip and knee arthroplasty. He is also trained in treating general orthopaedic injuries and conservative treatment options for arthritis, including knee arthroscopy.
